Steve from New Berlin Redi-Mix responded to the email below. He said they take issues like this very seriously and would address our concerns with his drivers. It's nice to have someone to contact rather than the recent string of owner-operators. I have confidence New Berlin Redi-Mix will take care of this situation.

Greetings from the Zoo Interchange,

I wanted to reach out to you as I have done with so many of your fellow contractors working on the Zoo Interchange and/or Milwaukee Regional Medical Center. At around 3:50 today, one of your vehicles drove up our side street of North 93rd between Wisconsin and Bluemound. The street is marked with a no trucking sign in each direction. While I appreciate the fact that getting around here is difficult, my 1st and 2nd grade children (who get off the bus around that time each day) are more important than your trucks being inconvenienced.

I understand that tickets are expensive and I will likely be contacting MPD again because of an increase in truck traffic over the past couple of days. Please let your drivers know that breaking the law in residential neighborhoods is dangerous and makes residents less likely to want to do business with you in the future.

I am also posting this letter to my website.

Thank you,
